About this Centre
Spread over 27 acres in the heart of central London, Paddington Recreation Ground has an enormous range of facilities for you to enjoy. There’s a brand-new gym, a group fitness studio that plays host to a range of different sessions, as well as a range of outdoor tennis courts. Cricket fans can enjoy the pitch at the centre of the park and the four nets in which to practice, while the site also boasts an outdoor bowling green and a multi-use Tarmac court, as well as a 400m athletics track and a full-sized 3G artificial football pitch. The park reception building is open 07:00-21:00 every day, for our gym building opening times please see above.
This centre has implemented a cashless system. This has significantly reduced queuing times and improved customer service.

Recent significant investment has helped us install an all-new, ultra-modern gym. With more than 70 stations on hand, Paddington Recreation Ground’s new gym has something for you, whatever your goals may be.
Group Fitness Studio
Our group fitness studio plays host to a variety of different classes. Whatever your fitness goals may be, you’re sure to find the right class for you, while the social nature of the sessions means you can meet new people too.
Tennis Courts
With a total of 13 floodlit tennis courts – both tarmac and synthetic surfaces – Paddington Recreation Ground is perfect for tennis enthusiasts, whatever their ability. These are available for booking between 8am and 9pm, while a number of these can also be adapted for netball matches.
Football Pitch
Our variety of high-quality, multi-purpose floodlit pitches, which are suitable for 11-a-side and five-a-side football, as well as hockey, these pitches will certainly help satisfy your and your friends' sporting cravings. These superb pitches are available for casual or long-term bookings.
Cricket Nets
Our cricket nets are open and ready for hire. Cricket nets are ideal to practice batting and bowling in the safety of the nets. A fun way to play cricket with just a batter and bowler.
